What others are saying

"I went from strength to strength, the realisation that I didn’t need to believe the negative talk in my head and self loathing was a game changer for me. I now show up smiling and ready for anything. The program was a safe place every week, to be myself and to learn valuable skills. I learnt to be present, movement, journaling, habit making, goal setting, bite size pieces that created a more positive me. The team were amazing. The willingness to share, be vulnerable, support each other, smile, laugh. Before I started, I thought I needed to change. What I really needed was to be empowered, which is what this program did for me. "

"When I joined, I was feeling lost, depressed, and lonely. As a single mum without family in my new country and just starting to make new friends, I didn’t know what to expect. But what I found was so much more than I imagined. The support of the women, the energy of the facilitators, the creativity of the activities, and the wisdom of the mentors truly changed me. Just being around these women lifted my mood instantly. I came in looking for support, but I left feeling like I could truly thrive. The biggest surprise is how much I’ve carried forward into my daily life: meditation, walking, eating better, journaling… all things I learned here and continue to do. I’m so thankful to this wonderful group for giving me not only support but also hope, tools, and a sense of belonging. "

"I must say WOW!!! What a difference it has made in my life. It was the 1st time around a bunch of women where I wasn't bullied. As well where I felt Seen, Heard and Loved. I would rock up and others seem to come up and say Hi and want to get to know Me. It felt a little strange, yet a good feeling at the same time. It was a place where I felt connected. Since the program, I’ve spoken up and advocated for myself. I’m Surprising Myself. This Program definitely changes women’s lives. I know that for a fact, as it has changed mine. I’ll be forever grateful. "
